What this site is
A static catalog of 30 products across 10 categories, with 7 reference articles. Each product listing includes a title, brand, specifications, a short description and an outbound link to a retailer search where the product is typically stocked. The site does not sell anything directly; outbound links open in a new tab at the linked retailer.
How the catalog is sourced
Listings are authored from publicly available product specifications, cookbook references and consortium product registers (DOP, IGP, DOC, DOCG, EU geographic indications). Products are not personally tested. Where a listing is flagged with isSynthetic: true in the underlying data, that listing was authored from specifications rather than scraped from a live retailer page.
Editorial policy
Product descriptions are factual and specification-driven. The site does not publish reviews, ratings or rankings, because no person on this site has reviewed, rated or ranked the products. Pricing (where shown) reflects the price observed at the cited retailer at the time the listing was authored or last updated; retail prices change and the listed price is indicative.
Affiliate relationships
salami.me is currently a product catalog without active affiliate relationships. Outbound links route to retailer searches and do not currently carry referral identifiers. If the site enters affiliate programmes in the future, the relationship will be disclosed on this page and on the disclosures page, and outbound links will be flagged with the appropriate rel="sponsored" attribute (already in place preemptively).
